At Written Inc., the accuracy of our reports is paramount and we strive every day to ensure we get it right. People's careers are at stake. Clients rely on us to help them improve their hiring process and avoid mistakes. We've made it the top priority in our business both in the development of our software applications as well as the approach we take to each analysis. This commitment to quality from the beginning is what is responsible for our incredible accuracy rate of more than 95%.
Four Stages of Quality Analysis
This diagram shows the four stages involved in analyzing every Candidate Insight Report. Three different Written Inc. employees are involved in the process of each candidate analysis. To ensure the quality, we check and recheck the results at each stage to ensure the analysis of an individual's handwriting sample has been completed correctly and accurately.
Quality Stage 1 - Input Stage
In stage 1, a Written Inc. trained Handwriting Specialist analyzes and inputs data into a software program. This Analyst Program walks the Handwriting Specialist through a series of screens, asking questions about what they observe in the handwriting sample. The Handwriting Specialist at this stage of the analysis never sees the final results of the report. This ensures that the handwriting specialist cannot manipulate the results. They simply enter information into an application and move on to the next handwriting sample to analyze. Every analysis is completed the same way ensuring consistency and improving accuracy.
Quality Stage 2 - Validation Stage
Once the Handwriting Specialist has completed the Quality Stage 1 process, their inputs are then sent to another Written Inc. employee for validation. The Validation Analyst is a second set of eyes that reviews each input and validates they are correct. If they find an error, they make the correction at this point. Once they have validated that all of the inputs are correct, the process moves on to Quality Stage 3.
Quality Stage 3 - Database Application
Stage 3 of the analysis process involves the sophisticated software program which many people have said is the first significant improvement to the science of handwriting analysis in the last 150 years. Written Inc. discovered that traditional handwriting analysis was too simplistic. The interpreting and reading of a person's handwriting, or as we call it, written body language, requires a relational database because of the complexity. Without this application, the analysis of written body language would not be possible.
The inputs entered in Quality Stage 1 and validated in Quality Stage 2 are now sent to a central database application. In this program, correlation algorithms and probability tables are used along with artificial intelligence to create a pre-report. This pre-report is then sent to Quality Stage 4 of the analysis process. IN all, 957 different characteristics are analyzed for each Candidate Insight Report.
Quality Stage 4 - Quality Control
The fourth and final stage of the analysis process involves a third Written Inc. employee. The Quality Control Analyst receives the pre-report from the database application. At this stage, the handwritten sample and Quality Stage 1 analyst inputs are kept hidden from view of the Quality Control Analyst. This ensures again that the employees of Written Inc. cannot influence the outcome of any Candidate Insight Report. The Quality Control Analyst reviews the pre-report looking for anomalies. If they find something in the report that doesn't seem to fit into the rest of the candidates personality, the process is sent back to Stage 2 for re-review. Once the Quality Control Analyst approves the report, the final Candidate Insight Report is uploaded to our secure website and made available to our clients.
Quality Approach to Software Design and Development
The developed of the software applications used by our employees during the analysis process was based on the fundamentals of the ISO 9001 quality standard. Written Inc. is not ISO 9001 certified but the approach we have taken during the development of our software is consistent with best practices and procedures found in this international standard. Over the last 10 years, we have developed, tested and continuously improved our software application and relational database to move toward near perfect results.
