Is handwriting analysis really that accurate?
Handwriting analysis has been around for a century and a half, but the results were usually generic and unreliable. Most analysts use a one-to-one relationship; we found this method to be too simplistic. We use a relational database combined with artificial intelligence that goes beyond the one-to-one model giving us a series of rules to make more reliable decisions. This is pure science at work - backed by 10 years of research, case studies, and ongoing tests. Computer programs, complemented by highly-trained expert analysis, yield an accuracy rate of over 95%. There's no New Age, spiritual, or other non-scientific methodology used - just hard facts.
How long does it take to get the results back?
Once Written Inc. receives a faxed handwriting sample, the turnaround time is 1-2 business days. However we often can get results back to our clients within 24 hours!
What is Written Body Language?
People read body language whenever they interact with another person. It's unconscious and automatic for example, an angry person makes you fearful and a jumpy person unsettles you. Written Body Language involves the same mind-body connection. It happens when someone puts pen to paper resulting in an amazing guide to their unconscious traits and behaviors. Just as valid as body language and just as automatic, Written Body Language identifies what is usually kept hidden; the good or bad traits of a person.
How does it work?
Sample Collection Forms can be downloaded from our web site. Following the instructions, you are asked to copy two simple paragraphs onto the form.
The form is faxed to Written Inc. toll free at (888) 329-8744.
Our handwriting specialists analyze the samples and generate an Insight Report.
The report is emailed directly to the email address written on the form.
Is it legal to use?
Absolutely! Our Insight Reports are EEOC compliant and do not discriminate. Several Supreme Court cases tested the legality of handwriting analysis and held that it is legal to use as a hiring and screening tool in business. Like any other recommendation, Insight Reports should never be used as the sole reason for hiring, firing, layoff, promotion, etc. Additional information regarding legal considerations is available upon request.
How is Candidate Insight different from other personality assessments?
Multiple choice questionnaires based personality tests rely on the candidate to answer questions honestly. Tests of this type can be manipulated by a cleaver test taker. Even when people try to answer truthfully, they can't, their answers are coming from a perception of how they see themselves; which may or may not be correct. For example; nobody ever thinks they're moody. In contrast, candidates cannot manipulate their handwriting; it comes from the subconscious and is not accessible to willful manipulation.
Computer based personality tests or multiple choice questionnaires rely on honestly and good self awareness when answering their questions. People defeat these tests by simply answering in a way that makes them look the best. Insight Reports cannot be manipulated. Individuals can't change their handwriting to conceal or disguise anything.
Should we consider this to be private information?
Yes! We recommend that all Insight Reports be treated like private information. For hiring, our report is a personal recommendations and should be treated the same as you would drug test results, financial information, and any other information associated with acceptance or rejection. This information is considered company private and may expose an organization to unnecessary problems. For the other Insight Report the results are delivered directly to you from the email address you provide; sharing this information is your choice. When working with a coach or trainer your might receive your report them.
Can Written Inc. analyze someone's handwriting if the candidate can only print and does not use cursive writing?
We have found that a cursive style writing using a ball point pen provides us with the best information. If the sample is written using a combination of upper and lowercase printing, a short but accurate result is possible. Printing in all uppercase provides virtually no valuable information and will not be analyzed.
Is there a scientific basis behind Written Body Language?
Yes. Neurological studies of human brain scans reveal a direct connection between specific personality traits and physiological actions. This can be seen when you observe a person's body language along with voice intonation and handwriting. The concept of Written Body Language was developed and tested for 10 years using a large database of individuals from all walks of life and circumstances. From super stars to serial killers to regular people, this cross-section of subjects enabled us to check and re-check our data. The result is a state-of-the-art and extremely accurate personality assessment tool.
